Automated email flow for recruitment pages

A Step-by-Step Guide

Creating a seamless onboarding experience is crucial for setting the right tone with new members joining your user panel. Implementing an email onboarding flow not only guides participants through the initial steps but also fosters engagement and retention from the outset.

An automated email flow is a powerful way to engage your participants. With our platform, you can create a flow with an unlimited number of emails, all connected to a specific recruitment page. Once a user signs up through this recruitment page, they’ll automatically start receiving emails from the chosen flow.

Three steps that need to be done:

1. Create flow
2. Create emails
3. Connect to recruitment page

1. Create flow

Select Onboarding from the Menu

Name your flow and choose a language.

2. Create email

Clik Create Flow.

You’re now ready to compose the first email in your flow.

Start by drafting the body of your email. Make sure the message is clear, engaging, and relevant to the recipient.

Fill in the subject line
Choose a subject line that captures attention and reflects the content of your email.

Select a Call-to-Action (CTA)
You can either:
a. Direct your recipients to an external
or
b. Link to a test you’ve created. If you’ve set up a test within the platform, you can link directly to it, encouraging recipients to participate.

When to be send
Next, specify when each email should be sent after a participant signs up via the recruitment page. For example, you might set the first email to be sent on Day 1 and the second email on Day 3. This means the user will receive the first email one day after signing up, and the second email three days after receiving the first one (which is four days after signup).

Important Note
If you send a test (we call it message), such as from the Preely platform, to a user the day after they receive the first email from the onboarding flow, the second email in the onboarding flow will be sent three days after they receive the test email.

Use case flow – examples
The last message defines when the following email in the onboarding/engagement flow is shared.

3. Connecting your flow to a recruitment page

Once you’ve set up your email flow with the various emails, the next step is to link it to a recruitment page. This is a simple process:

Edit your recruitment page
Go to the recruitment page you want to connect with your flow.

Select your onboarding flow
In the drop-down menu, choose the onboarding flow you’ve created.

Now, whenever a user signs up through this recruitment page, they will automatically be added to the email flow, ensuring they receive your carefully crafted sequence of emails.
