How and when to action on feedback using triangulation – Kate Fisher & Julia Cowing

We are thrilled to introduce our next speakers – Kate Fisher, Senior Design Researcher and Julia Cowing, Principal UX Research Operations Manager at Esri.

The talk

Product teams are often overwhelmed by a flood of customer feedback from various channels, making it difficult to analyze, prioritize, and act upon it effectively. This presentation proposes a framework called “The Rule of 3” to address this challenge.

By triangulating feedback from different types of sources, teams can (in) validate feedback and avoid basing decisions on isolated data points. The framework empowers product managers, engineers, customer support, UX researchers, and other stakeholders to work together, enabling scalable feedback analysis and fostering a collaborative environment.

We’ll end with a real-world case study to illustrate the application of this method with attendees, followed by a Q&A and closing comments to solidify key takeaways.
