Preely has a ton of different analytics and actionable feedback mechanism that you can utilize. This tutorial will take you through the most common ones.

All your analytics are visualized in a practical way, which allow you to quickly and easily identify actions on the basis of the feedback. In our paid plans, you will also have the opportunity to export your results for data-processing and reporting purposes.

How to video

Accessing your data

When in a test, click the “Analytics” button on the left side panel.

Here you will see an overview of your feedback, and an overview of the results of your different tasks.

To go in depth with a single task, click it, and you will be presented with three different types of data:

1. All answers
2. See heatmap
3. See actions
4. See first click

1. Answers

In the answers section, you will get an overview of all answers from testers.

You will also be presented with a summary of the task, the context, and detailed information about the behavior of each of your testers.

Tip: In order to see more than five results you need to be on one of our paid plans

Also, you can see your overall feedback whether if you opted for rating, free response, survey or NPS.

Examining single user behavior

With Preely you can go in depth with every single user who has completed your task. This can come in handy if the users, for example, has left a negative comment or a bad rating on your test.

Click each user to see their:

  • Device, gender, age, answer, and comments
  • Click analysis. First- and last clicks
  • Task duration to completion

2. Heatmaps

The heatmap section gives you an overview of all clicks, swipes, and scrolls on each screen.

It also gives you access to the following screen statistics:

  • Avg. time on screen
  • Avg. time to first action
  • Total visits
  • Unique visits
  • Hotspot hit ratio

3. Actions

The action sections highlight all clicks and swipes on your different screens. It also gives you the opportunity to filter between clicks: first, last, and all.

This gives you a good identification of how easy it was for your users to find the hotspots, and how many attempts it takes for them.
